ZAZZU

Cold water acclimation exercises are an important part of water operations for Mountain Division and K9 TZ operators. That's why Teame members take time to get out and about in glacier-cold water and practice staying out of the water.

Sudden immersion in cold water can cause physiological reactions that can overcome mental focus and substantially increase the risk of drowning. Working with K9 units in near-freezing conditions means planning and taking deliberative action.

The time to practice is when it's not an emergency.
The best time to practice is when you can relax and enjoy a calm paddle between the floating ice, high in an alpine forest. Go Teame!
