Teame members make a rapid descent from 8621 feet peak elevation in two-man K-9 packs

After a light repast and recon of the views, our decent rapidly down the switchbacks to the pass then down the trail required dodging mud and lingering k-9s. This peak hike is a workout for person and beast, but achievable even by beginner hikers. Acclimation to high altitudes and motivation are the all hard work it takes to summit a mountain.

AIR HAVEN: Multiagency mass casualty evacuation and asset consolidation exercise

Simulated casualties were triaged and first aid administered at collection points before critical cases were evacuated by helicopter to area hospitals. TZMD operators assembled at takeoff points with other emergency responders onto helicopters to consolidate response efforts at forward command centers.

TZMD Couples Training is designed to enhance situational awareness, anticipatory improvisation and unit cohesion. In crisis remediation, a couple that trains is the couple that remains. Training together allows couples efficient emergency response skills by mitigating friction and improving teamwork protocols and tactical adjustment.

SURVIVE THIS: Air Medical Survival Challenge

Together with multiple state and private agencies, Teame Zazzu conducted a wilderness hard landing survival scenario involving air medical helicopters dispatched to a scene flight in Tooele County for a dirt bike accident. As the flight center worked on GPS coordinates the the pilot announces engine fire in flight. As the helicopters turn on final approach to LZ the pilot announces to crew to expect a hard landing with limited power. TZ forces deploy by air and ground serving as training guides, rescue operations support, and drone reconnaissance units to find the downed aircrews, fix their position, and document their survival until the search and rescue operations are finished.

TZ participants were delivered the scenario in the midst of other training, and were obligated to plan and engage their response immediately. The scenario tested readiness, coordination, and willingness to engage challenges.
