Coranado cooperative involved coordination of non member assets to deploy structural assistance for teame planning objectives. A full round trip 30 mi. bike ride to pre scout locations by TZMP scouts, allowing for pinpoint arrival and integration with indigenous entities was performed in advance of the main operation.

It was a multi day event involving TZMP and TZA activities. Participants engaged an early morning 18-mile ride under pack on bicycle carrying a TZ underwater submersible sensor package to the forward embarkation point. The dive profile involved a two-site two-site day ending with a return 18 mi. TZMP return ride.

Divers observed a variety of underwater life including crabs, seals, and an assortment of fish.
TZ aquanauts dove in La Jolla kelp forest and La Jolla beach area to depths in excess of 65 ft. Following the dive, TZ aquanauts were required to exploit indigenous personnel on their own initiative for transport to the final objective, where a light repast was served and medical aid administered. DEPARTMENTS
TZ Aquanautics is ready to operate in water of any temperature, conduct operation in aquatic environments ranging from high altitude scuba and skin diving to whitewater paddle-boarding. TZ Aquanauts deploy in support of the community during rescue and recovery operations
Features

CIRCLE WORK: Search and Recovery SCUBA dive training executing both shore based pendulum and submerged pivot pointed based circle search patterns

TZA SAR divers conduct submerged pattern searches for forensic evidence to recover a discarded firearm as part of a multi-agency training exercise.

SALVAGE SUBMERSION: TZ Aquanatics were required to locate and enter a submerged twin-engine 10-seat Beech C185 at a depth of 55 feet, deploy an experimental sensor tray, and conduct simulated emergency search and rescue dives acting as an air-deployed "feet wet" rapid reaction force under live-fire conditions.

The Aquatics phase of Jump and Thump took place over the course of two days. Subsequent dives required participants to locate a sunken rowboat at 80 feet and prepare entry into an underwater vent pipe leading to a cave with extreme restrictions at 140 feet, all part of a vast underground system of water connecting seven sister lakes nestled among the surrounding red mesas.
